No. If we made it waterproof, we'd lose that buttery-soft feeling and the comfort it brings. But if Kushee does get wet, simply remove the cover, and dry cover and foam separately. Remove excess water by pressing gently or by using a washing machine spin cycle.
We use a PR40 foam (Premium Preserve High Resiliency) - which is ideal for high end use, and is considered "firm".It is not made with any harmful chemicals or substances. PR foam is heavier and does not soften with use like conventional polyurethane grades. It is also made with larger and more open cells, this allows for better air flow and cooler surfaces. Preserve is a peachy gold colour.
The premium foam is designed for durability and won’t flatten out like standard stadium seat cushions.
